Jon Rolle has over two decades of experience in public education and is the proud Principal of Garfield Elementary in DC Public Schools. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from NC State University and a Master of Science in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2011, Jon was named DC Teacher of the Year. Jon is passionate about equity, scholar wellness, and cultivating an environment where all stakeholders feel loved, respected, and valued while engaging in rigorous academic instruction. As Principal of Garfield, Jon successfully led his community through a multi-million-dollar building modernization project, expanding school partnerships and offerings all while dramatically improving outcomes and becoming the top Elementary School in Ward 8. Jon is a resident of Upper Marlboro, MD and outside of school is the Co-Owner of Power Athletics-Maryland one of the largest and most successful All Starr Cheer Gyms in the state.
