Akosua Kelley joined School Leader Lab after 15 years in education, including 12 years in Boston as a teacher through Teach For America, a founding principal in Boston Public Schools, and a leadership development coach at Lynch Leadership Academy. From these experiences, she is focused on helping school leaders hold on to hope, see progress, and lead with authenticity — tapping into their full potential to maximize impact and create transformational experiences for children.

Her passion for education began at Dartmouth College, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a Minor in Education. She went on to receive a Master’s Degree in School Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Akosua lives in Maryland with her husband (aka her hype man) and their two joyful sons.
