At School Leader Lab, we work with public schools and networks in Washington, DC to develop instructional leaders, who we see as the greatest catalysts for student success and meaningful change. We focus on instructional, adult, and antiracist leadership. Our core program is our 18-month cohort experience which is practice-based and incorporates peer learning and individual coaching.

SLC 2021 will launch in May, spanning the content areas of:

  • Race, equity and DC context

  • Instructional leadership

  • Leading adults

  • Monthly local Learning Labs starting May 2021

  • Summer intensive with leading experts in the sector

  • Adjunct faculty learning with Actually Curious, Noble Story Group and Center for Racial Justice in Education

  • A two-day residency outside DC to build cohort relationships and deepen our skills around antiracist and adaptive leadership (when it is safe to do so)

  • High-impact individual coaching, 360 feedback, and school walkthroughs (when it is safe to do so)
