AP Leadership Academy with DCPS

AP Leadership Academy is a 10-month cohort that develops DCPS Assistant Principals who are in their second year and beyond. Participants will grow their adaptive, equity-centered, and emotionally intelligent leadership skills.

Over the course of this experience, leaders will:

  • Craft and communicate a compelling leadership vision and aligned habits of leadership.
  • Address and make progress on complex adaptive challenges aligned to DCPS strategic priorities.
  • Develop new habits and tools to increase equity and anti-racist practices in schools.
  • Retain and develop current DCPS Assistant Principals while supporting a future pipeline of BIPOC leaders.

Who?

The program is open to DCPS assistant principals who are in their second year and beyond.

How Much?

Due to the generous support of our gracious funders, APLA is tuition-free. We ask all of our participants to commit fully to the program and attend every session.
